IT'S MY FIRST TIME GETTING WAXED! HOW DO I PREP?It's important that you stop shaving at least 2-3 weeks before your wax. Also, be sure to exfoliate either 2 weeks prior to (2-3xs a week) or the night before your wax (not the day of) this will ensure your kin is prepped and ready to go.

DOES WAXING HURT? & HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO WAX?This is the number one question of all time! Your first time wax might be a little spicey, BUT everyone has a different pain tolerance. What might feel uncomfortable to someone else may not bother another person as much. Another key point to keep in mind is consistancy. By staying consistant and regular with your waxes, you will notice your hairs growing back softer, finer and more sparse. Which means your waxes will become easier overtime. Waxing is reccomeded every 3-4 weeks depending on how fast your grows back.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENACE BETWEEN A BIKINI LINE, BIKINI FULL, & BIKINI BRAZILIAN?"Bikini line is a basic tidy. We wax the sides (called your panty line) and across the top. If you’re wearing a bikini, this will prevent any hairs from "peeking out." Bikini (full) is the next step and allows you to take off as much or as little hair as you like off the front. If you want to leave a small landing strip or triangel the choice is yours! Bikini Brazilian or as I like to say this service is the WHOLE ENCHILADA! LOL! It goes from the front all the way to the back with an added butt strip. This is perfect for a completely nude look or a small triangle. It's up to you!

CAN I WAX IF I'M ON MY PERIOD?Sure, we can absolutely wax you if it's that time of the month. But do keep in mind that the area will be more prone to sensitivity and you may experience more discomfort than usual. In order to successfully complete the service, you will need to wear a tampon.
-
CAN I GET WAXED IF I'M TAKING RETIN A, RENOVA, OR ACCUTANE?"These medications increase the rate at which your skin exfoliates so waxing could potentially remove skin as well as hair. Please let your wax technician know immediately if you are on any medications. Also be aware that chemical peels, laser, and micro-dermabrasion can also affect skin integrity.
-
OTHER MEDICATIONS/INGREDIENTS TO BE AWARE OF PRIOR TO WAXING?There are many medications that affect skin and skin integrity (glycolic acid, lactic acid, benzyl peroxide, salicylic acid, alpha hydroxyl acid, vitamin A, prescribed exfoliating scrubs, antibiotics, hormonal medications, radiation and/or chemotherapy drugs). Please consult with your physician in regards to any medications and how it may affect your waxing experience. Some brand names to be aware of: Adapalene, Avita, Tazorac Avage, Proactiv(e), Differin, Strivectin.
